About EmbroViewer

EmbroViewer is a free tool for anyone who works with machine embroidery files — home embroiderers, Etsy sellers, print shops and digitizers. It opens DST, PES, PEC, JEF, EXP, VP3, HUS, XXX and U01 designs and converts SVG artwork into DST and PES, entirely in your web browser.

Why it exists

Viewing an embroidery file usually means installing the software that matches your machine brand, or uploading the file to a website. EmbroViewer was built so that anyone can check a design — its size, stitch count, colours and hoop fit — on any device, instantly, without giving the file to anyone.

How it works

All reading, rendering and digitizing runs as JavaScript in your browser tab. There is no server-side processing and no account. The format readers and the DST/PES writers are ports of the well-tested open-source pyembroidery library (MIT licence). Files with unusual variants or damaged data may need an export from the originating software.
